A new star is born. Willow Smith will no longer be known only by her parents’ names. The 9 year old girl, daughter of actress Jada Pinkett Smith and actor Will Smith is all set to reach stardom herself. She had already signed Jay-Z’s record label “Roc Nation” and now her new single is ready to be released titled “Whip My Hair”. The maturity in her voice is also startling to see.
Willow is not only a good singer, she can act as well. She has already acted in many movie like “I Am Legend”, “Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa”. Her video “Whip My Hair” is all set for release and premiers today.
Will Smith and Jada Smith have 2 kids together, Willow and her 12 year old brother Jadan. Jadan is an actor, dancer, rapper and song writer himself. He has also acted in several movies: “The Pursuit of Happyness”, “The Day the Earth Stood Still” and was recently casted in “The Karate Kid”.
“Whip My Hair” has been directed by Ray Kay who has previously worked with Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber. In the video, Willow is seen to dance while whipping her hair after dipping it in paint. This video is sure to catch the attention of the younger generation everywhere. The video creates a doubt in the viewer’s mind whether Willow is truly 9 years old. Her amazing resemblance to Rihanna makes her look like a miniature version.
The video is set to debut on VEVO and BET later tonight.
