MySpace and Facebook have teamed to bring “Mashup with Facebook” which make MySpace subscribers to have their entertainment interests as they have them on Facebook.

MySpace and Facebook Promising more to Users

The Facebook information which includes favorite music, TV shows, movies and celebrities will be customized by MySpace and related material suggested as the subscriber wishes.

The procedure is very simple it just includes the subscriber to connect and accept Facebook information be used by MySpace and the customized entertainment will be presented. The information will be presented with some latest information.

This collaboration follows the one they did in July after the two companies allowed their users post their photos, status, updates, links and videos where they also included another socio-network, twitter.
The returns raised from the venture will not be shared but each company will have to rely on what it raises individually.

The information will be flowing in one way, from Facebook to MySpace. This is meant to increase its most valuable asset, database. MySpace is in the process of upgrading its system to have the data given be able to play the reverse. This is supposed to help Facebook in marketing and increase its returns.

MySpace has taken numerous steps to make it possible for it to be able remain afloat in the competitive entertainment site by bringing in a few socio-networking features as opposed to being one sided.

The company is responding to customer demands and not admission of the company’s failure in the market.

The master and leader in the entertainment scene, as far as brands and artists are concerned, MySpace has been loosing in the market courtesy of social networking sites but seems to be ready to beat them in their own game by joining them. The site looks back to market domination.
