Bill O’Reilly made an appearance on “The View” this morning and stars like Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar, who were also invited, had a fight with Bill as the discussion headed to another direction and the subject moved towards the mosque at Ground Zero. Bill’s remarks that the 9/11 attacks took place because of the Muslims and they were responsible for the attacks and the deaths that had taken place. This statement took Whoopi by surprise which led tempers to soar up on both sides. Joy Behar even made bunny ears on him in his response to him. Bill said that because of the Muslims’ role in the attacks, there was no place near the World Trade Center to have a mosque there. This controversial statement angered Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar and a fight broke off between the guests on the show. They charged away from the set. This act of rage was criticised heavily by Barbara Walters. She accused the two women of being unprofessional and questioned whether it was possible to make discussions by sitting quietly with each other like civilised people. After all this drama, both Whoopi and Joy eventually returned to the sets. But Joy did not return back to her original position which was right next to that of Bill. She sat on the end of couch. The outfit of Whoopi Goldberg was intensely clashing; however it managed to stick around till the end of the event. |
