Charlie Chaplin and the Time Traveler: Q&A

Is a time travelling woman using what appears to be a cell phone in newly released videos of the premiere of the1928 Chaplin flick ‘The Circus’? The never seen before footage has gone viral, with sceptics saying that is bogus, while others are refuting the hoax theory. The mystery woman was shot just outside Mann Chinese Theater at a premiere in Hollywood.

CNN to twitter bugs are speculating on who the woman could have been talking to, or whether she was a nut case. Who in this universe was picking up signals, and on which cell phone tower? The YouTube video is a rage right now with over a million hits. Those who are in cahoots with physicist Stephen Hawking who believes in ETs and walking through the fabric of time, have taken a stand for the implausible time-traveler on a phone theory.

Others say the person is plain insane, talking on a non-existent Bluetooth device, or scoffing that she is a batty lady hard od hearing. They aver that iPhone maniacs are reading too much back in time. You never can tell with the grainy video.Another group is mulling on whether the lady traces links to the 1940s hipster.

Those with their feer firmly planted on the ground say this could be a post-production whiz having fun tweaking videos.
Wait for the next instalment in this saga, as a gadgethead might pop up complete with a red and gold Daniel Cardle time machine.
