Acer is ready to launch one of the first generations of Android 2.2 Smartphone in the coming October of 2010 which is a successor of the Acer Liquid Ferrari edition containing some minor changes in the outlook and hardware specifications. Along with Android’s most advanced 2.2 version, the user interface is integrated with Acer Shell 4.0 proprietary edition. The scratch less aluminum body with mat finish bear a good resemblance with Apple iPhone 4 body panel.

The liquid metal is equipped with 5 MP camera on the rear that has 720p HD clarity video taking ability in 30 fps, auto focus and LED flash to assist in capturing favorite moment and places. It runs on 800 MHz ARM based A8 process packed with 512 RAM for better performance on the 3.6” capacitive touch screen. Apart from the Android 2.2 Froyo interface, the Acer liquid also possesses USB 3.0 connectivity to transfer data ten times faster than the USB 2.0 data cables.

Acer Liquid Metal is coming into market at the middle of October 2010 from Fido & Roger who priced the Smartphone as $50 and $30 contract on a 3 year term accordingly or $350 & $425 if taken without service contract.
