Electric car

The electric car has been around for some time and it only continues to improve in both design and efficiency. With this type of vehicle a person can help to reduce the emissions that are being released into the environment by gas and diesel fueled engines, as well as save money on fuel costs which all of us can appreciate these days. Louis Palmer, a Swiss teacher, created a solar taxi just a few years ago. He also organized a race that covered many areas of Russia, China, Canada, Europe and the United States in an effort to show consumers what the electric car can do.

Many of the electric cars were up to the challenge as they showed they were the greenest of them all. The goal of the race is to raise more awareness about what people can do to save nonrenewable energy resources. By the electric car relying on electricity that comes from the sun there is nothing lost but much gained by the lack of toxic emissions being allowed into the air when the electric car is used so we have a cleaner and safer environment.

The vehicles can operate for approximately 155 miles and then need to be recharged. If you get the opportunity to see these vehicles as they go through your country, you should do so as you will be witnessing history in the making.
