Ashley Anderson is a name of a computer virus which has been spreading like wildfire. It is an email which is being sent to different email accounts from a woman named Ashley Anderson. This mail contains a virus.

In the mail, it appears as if she is very well acquainted with the receiver though she is not and contains an attached file in the mail. It is strongly advised not to open this mail and delete it as soon as someone receives as it is known to contain a malicious virus.

However, the harmful effects or the extremities of the dangerous effects of the virus are still unknown but it is thought to be a harmful virus or a Trojan horse which can hack into the system and steal personal or valuable information without the knowledge of the user. The virus is also capable of damaging or corrupting other information present in the computer.

The best way to avoid this is to delete the mail as soon as possible. The attachment file helps in intruding into the computer as during the downloading of the attachment file information regarding the IP address of the victim is obtained by the sender of the mail thereby making it easy for the person to hack into the system. Not opening the attachment is strongly recommended, but if someone has already done it then its recommended to contact the system admin or someone who can help.
