Police Said Jennifer Met Shannon in a Social Networking Site-Mocospace

Police from St. Petersburg said that Jennifer Mee had come across Shannon Griffin on the internet and continued to lure him to meet her on a Sartuday night, where two of her roommates, a Lamont Newton her boyfriend and Laron Raiford, another male, waited.

However, there was a struggle that ensued during the attempt at robbery and Griffin ended up dead after being shot four times, police said.

Mee might not have fired any kind of shots but she was accordingly charged with counts of murder as per Florida Law. The law in Florida has it that any individual associated with any crime that leads to killing can be prosecuted.

The attorney to the ‘Hiccup Girl’, John Trevena, wanted to see if the prosecutors in the case could make any deal that was lesser than the charge.

The attorney’s confidence came from the fact that the ‘Hiccup Girl” was only 19, no violent history, not the one who pulled the trigger, cooperation with authorities and most importantly, she had the Tourette syndrome.

The ‘hiccup girl’ had met the deceased on MocoSpace, a social network.
