Few more days are left for the winter holidays to begin officially but it appears that severe winter
weather is allowing some unexpected holidays to students in different parts of Oregon. According to the
reports, Beaverton school district has declared class cancellations on Tuesday morning, after the region
was hit by severe winter weather. Officials of the school district issued a statement in the early morning
at around 5:30 a.m. that all classes will remain suspended on Tuesday.

Reports state, the adverse weather conditions have made it impossible for the students to travel all
the way to their school. Therefore, the officials announced a holiday for the students as well as the
faculty members. They have also suspended all other district activities that were scheduled for Tuesday.
However, they are yet to announce the rescheduling of the activities. Though classes and activities will
remain suspended on Tuesday, administration offices will remain open.

The weather forecast of Oregon does not indicate any positive change in Tuesday’s weather. Reports
indicate, the wintry weather condition prevailing in the state will become more severe today. The
region can expect more snowfall in the coming hours. According to the officials of the National Weather
Service, the weather conditions are expected to improve before Thanksgiving. However, there is no
confirmed news on the weather condition that may prevail on Wednesday.

If the wintry weather condition does not improve by Wednesday morning, parents can expect more
delays and cancellations of classes. Therefore, before sending their child to school, parents are
requested to check the latest updates of the delays and cancellations.
