The Boulder Dome Fire is raging on with no signs of stopping and has forked out into two separate blazes. Flame retardants and air tankers from Colorado are trying to douse the magnitude of the flames. People are being evacuated from the wildfire inferno, while some residents have taken a novel way out, bicycling out of the disaster area.

It is reported by local feeds that more than 1,800 people and around 750 houses have been facing the ire of the unrelenting blaze.

The forest fire spiralling out of control has seen the eco-friendly cycle reprise a heroic role as local residents are using it as a life-saving communication mode, escaping on who wheels.

Local facilities like the University of Colorado and the Coors Event Center at Boulder are packed to capacity, with people being relocated to these safer havens. The fire began in the morning but spread with exponential ease, to devastating effect.

No human causalities have been reported so far. Fire dousing efforts are being overseen by the Boulder office for emergency management.

Hospitals at Boulder, the Mapleton and Maxwell community facilities too were being evacuated and displaced animals are being taken care of by animal care groups Humane Society and County Fairgrounds ,who are also offering to rescue stranded pets, large animals and livestock.

To prevent asphyxiation, those with a medical condition, besides children and expecting mothers, are being asked to stay indoors and ring for help, according to health advisories.
