Mobile phone subscribers from the leading three cell phone distributors have something to smile about after their companies allowed a service allowing them to buy stuff through their mobile gadgets.

Over Mobile Phones Purchasing Now Possible

The planed joined venture could have a devastating effect to those who use cash, credit cards or metro passes; they will be rendered useless, as their services will be done on the mobile phone wave.

The venture is called ISIS and has been struck by Verizon Wireless, AT&T Inc. and T-Mobile USA, and is to be in selected places in the country in a year and a half.

The bank which has been given the duty of making the service a reality is Barclaycards US, a subsidiary of British bank Barclays PLC.
