The National Museum of American Jewish History will be opened in Philadelphia during a grand opening gala that will feature personalities such as Bette Midler and Jerry Seinfeld. The weekend-long event will also have Joe Biden as the keynote speaker on Sunday. The government is seeking to reassure the public that the full-body scanners being availed at airports for security checks are safe, despite their use of radiation to examine one for bombs or weapons past their clothing.
