This year shoppers have too much to make merry about. First the shopping season has already
started, so technically it has been preponed by almost a week and secondly shoppers do not have
to go store hopping, they can make purchases, online relaxing at home. This year online stores re
expected to make very good business. Some chains like Express will provide amazing offers to its
customers both online and at in-house stores. It will be a difficult task for customers to choose from
the online stores, as some of them offer free shipping and some don’t till a minimum amount.

Some brands like “Supermedia” have their website customised specially for this shopping spree.
A tab appears on the website of “superpages.com”, marked as “black Friday deals” .Buyers do not
have to take the ordeal of going through the entire site, searching for their favourite items, the best
items on offer will be available at the click of a button. Interestingly, the “black Friday deals” button
will change to “cyber Monday deals” from November 26th.

This move will make shopping a lot easier for shoppers, spoiling them with more choice, online or
otherwise. Buyers can even share their views on their favorite items with friends through the social
networking sites, twitter and Facebook straightaway from these sites.

Apparel and gadgets are the two most sought after articles during the shopping season. Many
International brands like Macys, Kohl’s, and Nike etc. are offering discount coupons to its buyers.
Travel is another are where sales have picked up really well. Many airline companies and hotels
are providing heavy discount this festive season, most of which will be available online during the
shopping marathon.
