On Friday, the volcano Eyjafjallajokull in Iceland continued to erupt and spew ash. The eruption was clearly visible in space as it caused headaches here on Earth. The WHO is warning people to wear masks and try to stay indoors if possible all across Europe where the ash is still falling.

In Europe today, flights were cancelled by the thousands due to a huge volcanic ash cloud moving across the continent. Along with flights being cancelled airspace was restricted or closed. On Friday Eurocontrol stated in parts of Europe especially central and north and England were still closed due to the volcanic ash. That is about two-thirds of Europe.
