Hiring US Census Will Boost Payrolls in May

In May, payrolls for nonfarm work climbed at the fastest rate in almost 27 years as the US Census Bureau was getting ready to hire more workers.
Out of the 513,000 payroll increases, it is projected the census will be hiring around two-thirds of it. The foundation is there for the recovery process from a wounded labor market. This would be one of the largest monthly gains since 1983 when over 1,000,000 jobs were added. This follows March’s increase of 290,000 jobs after losses for the last two years. This would …

U.S. Citizen Indicted for Attempting to Provide Support for a Terrorist Organization

A federal grand jury in Texas returned an indictment charging an U.S. citizen with attempting to provide support to a terrorist organization. An indictment is basically a formal accusation of criminal conduct, it is not evidence. A defendant is presumed not guilty unless confirmed guilty in a court of law.
This information comes from U.S. Attorney Jose Angel Moreno. Barry Walter Bujol Jr. is a 29 years resident of Hempstead, Texas and he was involved in providing material support in the Arabian Peninsula to Al Qaeda.
