Apple phone Leads Rivals with Better Screen Technology and Video Chats

Analysts are stating the Apple phone is pulling away from the competition on cell phones using Google Inc.’s competitive software. Thanks to a sharper screen, video-calling features, and a vast assortment of over 225,000 applications. Yesterday, the phone 4 was unveiled. The new iPhone has a camera that is front-facing, 24% thinner, and has better resolution. To help improve network reception there is a stainless band and new style of glass.

The Oil Spill has Long Term Effects

One of the constant stories in the news recently has been due to the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. While efforts are being made to clean it up including removing oil from the surface there is still so much that we don’t fully understand about the problem or the long term effects it will have. Still, the fact that we have been able to remove about 620,000 gallons of oil from the water is definitely some progress.
