Dozen of Protesters Try to Save Historic Trees in Sydney

A large turn out of people to protest RailCorp workers from being able to cut down historic fig trees. The gathering took place at the Sydney North Shore train station. There are five trees being protected, but three of them are going to be cut down in spite of those efforts. According to RailCorp representatives this is the only possibility. This isn’t the same believed that Mayor Ian Cross shares though.
