After HP and Sony, Toshiba Is Recalling 41,000 Notebooks

Toshiba, one of the oldest laptop manufacturers has recently called off over 41,000 notebooks due to overheating issue reported by users in the power adapter inlet. The lightweight notebooks of model Satellite T135, Satellite T135D and Satellite ProT130 are getting overheated at the AC power adapter point in the laptop and detected as possible fire hazard cause by the Product Safety Commission in the US who got reports from T Series Laptop users for overheating and minor incidents due to this issue. Gulf Oil Spill Attracted Volunteers and Donations

A provider of business process services and information technology, CGI Group Inc. will continue their work to help people that became victims due to the BP oil spill in the Gulf Coast region. They will do this by donations and the company will match the contribution along with ongoing volunteer work.
Three non profit organizations have joined CGI in the gulf oil spill recovery efforts. The Baton Rouge Area Foundation, National Wildlife Federation and Bay Area Food Bank.
