09/11 Memorials a Big Part of Remembrance and Healing

With the anniversary of 09/11/01 upon American nation, there are many emotions stirred up among people. Most of them are taking part in memorial efforts that are helping with remembrance and with the healing process. The locations of the events, including the Pentagon and the World Trade Center are locations where large numbers of people demonstrated their support.

UN Resolution Paves the Way for Serbia and Kosovo Talks

The U.N. general Assembly has taken a resolution which has called for talks between Serbia and Kosovo on a bipartite level. Kosovo declared its independence from Serbia in the year 2008. From the very beginning, Serbia has refused the recognition of an independent Kosovo and the landmark resolution on Thursday can open the gates of talks between the two fighting nations.
Once talks start between Pristina and Belgrade, Serbia had planned to start questioning independence of Kosovo, but there was intense pressure from European Union to make a compromise text. …

Eric Besson Has Refused to Stop His Government’s Contentious Roma-Expulsion Plan

Eric Besson, the minister of French Immigration has declined the European Parliament calls to stop his government’s contentious Roma-expulsion strategy.
According to the Eric Besson it is reported that “Europeans who sojourn on (French) soil without respecting conditions (of residency) will be repatriated to their countries of origin, either voluntarily or under constraint.”
