The New Jersey Nets are said to be locked in talks to get the signature of Carmelo Anthony, after luring Chris Bosh, Dwyane Wade and LeBron James to the Nets was unsuccessful. The news from Tempe Arizona is that the Cardinals’ Beanie Wells, running back, went through arthroscopic surgery on the right knee. This was after the NFL star had been injured in the last preseason game, an issue that had remained Cardinals’ secret.
Ken Whisenhunt, the Cardinals coach confirmed on 24 of September that Wells had undergone a surgery, claiming the procedure was not very serious and the running back might be back fast, with the surgery being done to repair Wells’ torn meniscus.
