In a statement, GM has reported that because power steering fluid might leak leading to engine compartment fire it is recalling about 4,000 SRX Cadillac Crossovers.
The affected vehicles are from its 2010 model and it would be trying to fix problems of power steering that might cause engine fires. General Motors says that it is only aware of a single fire that took place in a Cadillac SRX that was unattended.
However, no injuries or crashes that have been linked to the power steering issue have been reported.
