Homeownership Lowest in Ten Years

The national rate of homeownership is standing at its lowest level in more than ten years, seen as curtailed by weak housing demand and rising foreclosures.
The percentage level of households who have their own households remains unchanged at about 66.9%, between July and September, as the Census Bureau seems to suggest. The same number was still the one recorded between April and June.
The last recorded rate lower than the current one was by the turn of the century in 1999, standing at 66.7%.

At a sales talk for Amsterdam coffee shop chain biggie Dampkring, the exuberant GM of the famed chain looked apprehensive before launching on his sales pitch. The city boasts of the picturesque Amsterdam Boz, the man-made retreat, quaint coffee shops that would give Seine terrace cafes a run for their money, and the renowned the hooker zone.

Chavez to seize golf courses, so try the Apple app

Golf courses have been hot property in the newshubs, with Venezuelan Prez Hugo Chavez berating golf courses as a filthy super-rich luxury, a lush expanse for teeing off and sipping wine in a neighbourhood that might have starving kids. The Marxist Prez has raised the hackles of golf aficionados by saying on ‘Alo, President’, the cable show that he would seize golf courses that nurture a bourgeoisie fad.
