An adventurous couple who sought to dispense with the inanities of a mundane wedding had a fun-filled marriage ceremony during the Halloween weekend. The ceremony, which took place at Chessington’s Holiday Inn, had each wedding table named after a theme park ride on the Chessington World Adventures.
They had taken a tour of the latter earlier and taken photos of themselves on the rides, which adorned each table that was named after the respective ride.

It is good news for teenage parents as a study done by researchers from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported that less teen drivers are being involved in road accidents.
The driver safety report, released on October 21 2010, was based on a review of statistics between 1996 and 2008, which showed that the number of teenage drivers involved in fatal road accidents had drastically decreased.

The decision by Houston City residents to discard the city’s red-light camera program has attracted outcries that the occurrence of car accidents could actually increase at red-light intersections.
The red-light camera program was introduced between September 2006 and August 2008 where cameras were put up at 70 intersections with the aim of photographing drivers who ran red lights, making it easier to identify and fine them.

Most may dismiss Christmas festivities as being weeks away from now, but for the Braswell family, Christmas is just beginning. The Bonaire family, whose compound is becoming something of a tourist attraction, has just begun putting up its legendary Christmas decorations.
The yard is graced with 200 plastic figurines while just over 50,000 lights brighten up the house, trees and garden. According to Tony Braswell, the wooden decorations were made by their ‘Grandpa Clyde’ in the 1960s and each year, the Braswells add new Christmas decorations to the ensemble.
