Fans fume as Comic-Con site crashes

Passes for Comic-Con 2011 that were to go on sale Monday, 1 November are unavailable as of now, as the site crashed after a scramble to book tickets.
Irate fans were venting on FB and the blogosphere after registration was closed temporarily citing technical issues. The site http://www.comic-con.org became the object of geek slurs as fans cried foul about how the portal was set up by a rookie with the source as ‘FrontPage Generated’.
