WWE Survivor Series ended with a real gut wrenching match between Randy Orton and Wade Barrett.
According to the reports, Wade Barrett had dominated Orton in the major part of the match. However,
it was Randy Orton, who emerged as the champion. Though Orton vs. Barrett match was packed with
excitements, fans were more eager to know did John Cena get fired after the match of Sunday night.

According to the reports, the title match of the series not only declared the champion of the series but
also it determined the future of John Cena’s career with WWE. Reports state, John Cena, the special
referee of the match was under immense pressure, as the fight determined his future. He had some
obligations with Nexus and agreed on a condition that his career with WWE will end if Barrett failed to
become the champion.

If Wade Barrett had won the match and claimed the championship of the WWE Survivor Series, John
Cena would have been freed from all obligations. However, Wade Barrett lost control on his temper
and engaged himself in an altercation with John Cena, giving Randy Orton the opportunity to claim the
championship. Randy Orton hit Barrett with his masterstroke RKO, which ended the match and declared
him as the champion.

Reports state, Nexus men attacked Cena and Orton, after their leader Barrett lost the match. Though
they attacked Cena and Orton, they were beaten by the duo and Cena handed over the championship to
Randy Orton. The match ended John Cena’s career with WWE. Next day, Cena came on RAW stage with
his farewell speech.
