Directors Being Interviewed for the New Superman Movie ‘Reboot’

One of the leading movie news item is the fact that Superman is about to come back again in a new movie, although the Director for the yet to start production is currently being sought. Emma Thomas and Christopher Nolan are involved in the interviewing, with very strong unconfirmed names being reported.

Superman's New Movie 'Reboot' release Scheduled for 2012

Among those rumored to take the director seat for Superman Reboot include Jonathan Liebesman, known for movies such as the Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Battle: Los Angeles. In fact, he is said to have already signed to direct Clash of the Titans II. Others include Duncan Jones of the Source Code and Moon fame, Matt Reeves of Let Me In and Cloverfield and Zack Snyder who made 300 and Watchmen. Another director who might take the role is Tony Scott of True Romance and Unstoppable.

Superman is the kind of movie news anybody would like to hear, with Clark Kent being a household name, whether animated or otherwise. Being the most well known action hero, fans cannot wait for the movie.

In fact, reports suggest that decision on the matter is about to be made so that the production can commence and fast–tracked so that the release can be somewhere in 2012. Some of the directors shortlisted have confirmed their surprise to make the list of shortlisted directors, more so with Nolan on board and Warner Bros. showing a lot of interest. A combination of two able to make any serious director think twice before letting such an offer go.
