It appears, the week has started in a great way for the NFL fans, especially for the Philadelphia Eagles fans. In the high tension Eagles Redskins rematch, on Monday, Eagles exhibited stupendous performance. They have made the best use of their quarterbacks and defeated the Washington Redskins with a difference of more than double points. The scoreboard of the Fedex stadium, which ticked on constantly in favor of the Eagles, finally closed at 59-28.
Match reports state, Eagles had played a dominating game from the first quarter of the match and never left much space for the movement of their opponents. Eagles score clearly indicates their brilliant team coordination in the game. Yet, one cannot stop praising Michael Vick’s outstanding touchdown pass of 88 yards to DeSean Jackson. The quarterback did a great job for the team and secured an unforgettable win for Eagles.
Andy Reid, the happy coach of winning team praised each member of his team for the way they performed on Monday night. Though some players truly deserve special mention, it was a complete team game. While Eagles’ quarterback did not allow the scoreboard ticking to pause, the defense of the team prevented Redskins from covering the vast difference of points.
Compared to the results of their last match, both the teams have shown much improvement in yesterday’s game. Washington Redskins with a strong and talented line up tried their best but were not allowed to make a mark on Monday’s game. It was the Eagles who retained their dominating presence throughout the match.
