FEARnet’s Zombie Roadkill Will Make World Premiere at Fantastic Fest

From Ghost House Pictures and FEARnet, Fantastic Fest will host Zombie Roadkill as a World Premiere showing. It will be seen on September 24th, 2010 at 8:00 pm, in South Lamar, Texas at the Alamo Drafthouse.

David Green is the director and Thomas Haden Church (Academy Award nominated) along with David Dorfman who starred in Texas Chainsaw Massacre and The Ring Series, will be in attendance. This is also considered a Q & A post screening and FEARnet’s Spider will be moderating.

Zombie Roadkill is a series in six parts that is twisted and terrifying. Before the film, there will be a taco truck serving Zombie Roadkill and then the film will be shown in its entirety. Afterwards there will be a Zombie Roadkill party. A few days later, the Fantastic Feud will be sponsored by FEARnet in its 4th year.

The film is a comedy-horror that takes a Park Ranger who joins a teen to run from a bad piece of highway that is filled with resurrecting roadkill that turns into zombie animals. A group of kids from college are driving through a national park on an unfamiliar road when a squirrel accidentally gets hit. Everything goes bad and turns evil. It literally is a fight for survival.

On October 4th, the first two episodes will air on FEARnet.com. Then until October 8th, a new episode will air. On October 14th, you can also order OnDemand the first three episodes and the last episodes will be available until October 21st.
