The bulldogs have to rally hard and play a near perfect game in the second half if they want to stand a chance in the Florida Georgia Game 2010. The Gators gave the Bulldogs a run for their money and at halftime, the Gators are leading by two touchdowns in Jacksonville, Florida. But Georgia fans are not losing heart as hoping for a comeback win, and a turn around in the second half. A win here is make or break for both teams and vital to keeping them in contention. Recent travails of both the teams have seen them fall behind, so there is much at stake in this epic rivalry between Florida and Georgia, both struggling with indifferent form. This game was in times past touted as the “Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party” in the world. Notable player mentions include Florida ’s Chris Rainey with a cool touchdown run of 20-yards. For Georgia’s heroics, Aaron Murray did the honors with a touchdown pass of a vast 63-yards to Tavarres King. Florida in struggling in SEC games with a run of three losses in three games . in the post-Tebow era, the team’s fortunes are dwindling somewhat. Florida and Georgia are both unclassified opponents this time, a first time ever ignominy for both. But die-hard fans would say that there are still piles of NFL talents to watch out for. WR AJ Green and Janor Jenkins were both under scrutiny as this was billed as a slugfest between the two. Image Credit: |
