Pastor Eddie Long has had a fourth lawsuit filed against him. He is alleged to have influenced a teenager into sex while on an African trip. The male at the center of the new suit met the pastor in Charlotte, North Carolina at his church. The man reports that the deeds did not stop even after moving to Atlanta as per Eddie Long’s behest to attend University. As Eddie Long’s spokesperson denies the new allegations, he has also refused another three of the same kind from three different men. The suit was filed in DeKalb County at State Court in Georgia, claiming that the pastor had invited a 17-year-old Spencer LeGrande, 22-year-old today, on taking a trip to an East Africa nation, Kenya. On arriving in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, LeGrande was summoned by Long to his hotel room, and since the youth was having sleep difficulties, the pastor gave him a sleep aid, both taking it, as the suit reports. The lawsuit also states that the two shared the same bed and even shopped together during the duration of the trip to Kenya. In denial of the lawsuit, Art Franklin, Long’s spokesman says their position concerning the lawsuits is yet to change and “Bishop Long categorically denies the charges.” Art Franklin continues “it is unfortunate the young men have chosen to take this course of action” and that their defense will soon be initiated, where they “will review the complaints and respond accordingly at the appropriate time and in the appropriate forum.” Image Credit: |
