The best selling game application, Angry Birds, developed by Rovio Mobile, has come to Android and totally free. Rovio Mobile has made the application available and Android users can get this great application free by downloading it from the site ‘GetJar.com’ as well as on the Android Marketplace.

Rovio is said to have said in a press statement that they are doing this to make Angry Birds available for as many people as possible. This definitely is amazing compared to the fact that the full version of this app goes for $.99 on Apple’s iTunes. The news for the free Angry Birds application has been welcomed cordially by many Android users. This made the Rovio site to crash and remained that way for some time; due to the large traffic going in since it launched the Angry Birds Android version.

Rovio Mobile, which is based in Finland, has had quite an interesting time, with many things happening to it. One notably thing was on October 10, after a blogger had located an advertisement for Windows 7 operating system. It indicated that Angry Birds would be among the applications available at the WP7 launch. This was good for Rovio, although they denied this via Twitter.
