This amazing free spyware which has been developed by Chet Striker, has been dubbed as ‘Phone Creeper’, though the developer of the software describe it as phone espionage courtesy of an advertisement on it. Phone Creeper application stands out from other spywares out there, by the fact that one does not pay anything as compared to others that have a price attached.

If one wants to install this application, you simply copy the application into SD memory-card whence you then insert it in to the phone you want to install to. After installation, the application hardly appears under installed programs and its processes will be hidden. Phone Creeper at the moment works on Windows Mobile 5 to 6.5 and currently Striker is working on a port for Android.

Phone Creeper does a great number of things, some of which include enabling an attacker to get hold of SMS and call history, copy contacts, enabling call blocking as well as redirecting, appointments, tasks, GPS location and phone information. Striker says that the development was a challenge to see if it can be done clarifying that he uses it to control his phone remotely. He also acknowledges that it can be used for good or malicious intent depending on the user.

This free spyware also faces a challenge because some antivirus vendors like F-Secure have developed and added detection for Phone Creeper to their mobile security solutions.
