Dr. Mehmet Oz, the much-feted host of ‘The Dr. Oz Show’ who has won the Emmy award and appeared with TV queen Oprah Winfrey gave out health freebies to 5,000 winners.

The goodies from the award-winning host Dr. Oz, who is himself the oh-so-perfect picture of health, include products on which there are tie-ups with companies. Thousands of prizes were doled out online, but fret not if have not won anything, the health tips are always there whenever you need it.

You can check out the ‘Dr. Oz. Health Expo’ at Chicago, which is scheduled 9 a.m. to 5 p.m as an all-day health and wellness event on Saturday, November 6 with free admission. Be there at Millennium Park on Michigan Avenue if you are a Chi city resident.

The was good news and delights galore for those who won the Target Gift Card worth $50. While 5,000 winners took way the Target Card, another 5,000 won goodies from Schiff MegaRed worth 30 dollars.

Another 1,000 lucky winners got a free 90-day membership from 24-Hr Fitness so now they can pump iron and cut flab, or feel guilty for 90 days for bunking. Hey, pass it on but do not sleep on the coveted membership.

Another 800 winners won free fitness footwear from Skechers Shape-Ups Shoes, valued at $110 a pair.

Some winners had the benefit of getting the perfect peepers with a free eye exam from Pearle Vision. 500 winners got the free test op. Another 300 took away a free night’s stay at Holiday Inn.
