While Bill Gates, Microsoft Corporation owner, tops the richest of all American billionaires, Facebook co-founders Mark Zuckerburg and Dustin Moskovitz are the biggest gainers. Zuckerburg is rated number 35 while his co-founder, Moskovitz is the youngest billionaire to make the list at 26 years old.

Gates tops the list with his fortune of $54 billion, followed closely by Warren Buffet at $45 billion. On the same list are five residents from Massachusetts, including Fidelity Investments’ Edward C. Johnson III and Robert Kraft, owner of Patriots. Gates is said to have gained by $4 billion from what he had last year.

Of all the wealthiest in the list, 217 were richer as compared to 2009 with 85 having less. Alice Walton from Texas, of Wal-Mart Waltons, was a cool number eight with a fortune of $20 billion.

Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, Michael Bloomberg and Lawrence Ellison are some of the familiar names in the billionaires list. However, there were 16 new comers in the list, such as Elaine Wynn and the two Facebook co-founders,
