Security in German train stations and airports is being tightened as the country said it had proof that Islam Militants were planning attacks within the next two weeks.

According to Thomas Maiziere, the interior minister, details of the suspected plot were uncovered after mail bomb attacks were directed by Greek militants at Chancellor Merkel, among other prominent figures; as well as the fact that parcel bombs were sent to U.S. targets at the end of October.

At a news conference hurriedly called in Maziere’s ministry in Berlin, the minister asserted that intelligent services had concrete evidence of the planned attacks meant to occur towards the end of November.
