Getting Personal with New Facebook Data Protection

There has been concerns for a very long time that Facebook hardly allows proper protection of user privacy, but the announcement by the world’s favorite social networking giant that around 500 million of its users will now be enjoying control and monitor of the kind of personal data that can be accessed by a third party. Mark Zuckerburg said from the networking site’s headquarters that the core part of the company is people are able to control all of their uploaded content. In a move that would largely go well with Facebook fans, Facebook would be allowing users to make use of better new tools that will be able to download in a single zip file all information ever uploaded on the site. The social networking site is also looking for ways to make sure users will be able to organize all their contacts and friends in a set group(s), in a way that they can all be messaged as individuals or collectively. Zuckerberg was quoted as saying that they thought people would be using those additions, since they blow “everything else away”. the new Facebook tools, more so the tagging and improving image features are bound to draw many individuals using other sites, encouraging them to stick a while, but some critics are wary of the social networking site’s add ons.
