Duckies GoogleAccording to a blog posting by Neal Mohan, Vice President of Product Management for Google, they have purchased Invite Media for $70 million. The technology of this program allows for the use of real time bidding. That means advertisers can buy space for their ads, optimize their campaigns, and reach various exchanges for advertising from one interface.

Mohan is excited about the endeavor due to the fact that Google has continually tried to invest in this type of advertising niche. They have been dedicated to the prospect of developing tools for those that publish and advertise to benefit. Google is confident this is going to open up many wonderful opportunities for them as well as solutions.

This real time bidding technology is an important step in the right direction states Mohan. It is going to help advertisers and agencies to customize their bids for the market. They can use their data to help them decide where they want to access ad space. It is also an affordable type of advertising which can help to reduce some of the high overhead.

Mohan also expresses that this type of platform is going to be very user friendly. The use of it is going to allow advertisers and agencies to continually customize what they offer in the form of advertising. They can change bids accordingly and get better data about the success of their ads. As a result they should be more successful in reaching their target markets.
