A week is left for the Black Friday but it appears that stores have already started declaring offers and
deals for their customers. Groupon today has declared some of the lucrative deals for the buyers.
According to the reports, Friday Groupon has declared fifty percent off on the purchases made from
Nordstrom Rack.
As expected, the news of this attractive deal attracted the attention of the buyers within a few seconds
and all of them checked the online site of the store. They rushed to buy the discount vouchers so that
they can save a significant amount of money on their holiday shopping. Though the site has experience
of handling huge traffic flow, this time it could not cope up with the traffic pressure and crashed
partially.
Some of the users in Chicago reported that they experienced several technical difficulties while
accessing the site and could not purchase the coupons. As stated in the reports, people mainly
experienced the problem when they tried to complete their purchase. However, the problem was not
persistent and many shoppers have been able to grab the discount coupons.
The technical problems of the site had immediately attracted the attention of the officials. Groupon
officials in their Twitter feed, requested customers to wait for some time as technical experts were
already working on the issues. They have also apologized for the inconvenience that shoppers have
faced for the site errors. Groupon has offered several lucrative deals in the recent past and also featured
different nationwide deals on the television show, “Oprah’s Ultimate Favorite Things.”
