So what is Halal? Food remains to be the first thing that springs to mind. Contrary to that belief it is much more than that, on that list women, money, loans, alcohol and others are all in that list. Halal is God controlled and is a taboo to mix it with some of such pleasures as women (engaging with women whom one is not married to) and having sexual intercourse with them, amassing money using the wrong paths such as stealing, selling of ones body (such as prostitution), drugs, alcohol, taking loans having an interest to pay lending money with the aim of having it repaid with some interest, buying alcohol for personal consumption, selling and consumption of alcohol. Halal Foods: Lots of Misconceptions on the Same According to many scholars, classified in this category are boneless animals including fish, pawns and many of the sea products. All languages have a word that represents many other words. Look at this, Britain is also known as United Kingdom, England and referred to as the UK. In Islam Taibah also refers to it. In Islam when one is referring to well earned cash then they say that the amount has been earned Halal Ian Taibal. This is directly translated to be that the earnings are pure. In Britain for instance, most people are not informed of the term in the food industry. The signs have been displayed in all sort of places including restaurants, newspapers. Many products hardly represent what they seem to be from food being not just food. At present, many alternatives have been found. One can have a mortgage, non alcoholic beer, insurance, vegetables, marry women for sexual fulfillment can all be Halal. The meat products for this phenomenon are always very expensive as opposed to the one found in superstore, due to the big amounts bought from the store and butcheries are charged highly for special needs and volume bought when the special product are not in the market. Vegetable products remain to be the only best option in these times. This helps in supplementing the protein needed in the body. These products are most times unsuitable, even to Muslims and many of them have found them inconsumable for one reason or the other. The best example is that of red meat and beef which are known to have serious health implications, they produce cholesterol. Halal is not confined to animal products and its caterers go beyond all that. Image Credit: |
