48-year-old former NFL running back Herschel Walker who has always been a physical specimen has recently bared all and posed nude for ESPN the Magazine’s “Body Issue.” Walker has maintained his terrific physique by consistently continuing with his tenacious workouts and the outcome is evident in the recent bare all photo. The daily workouts of Walker include 750 to 1,000 sit-ups and 2,000 push-ups every morning after skipping breakfast. He then continues with the mixed martial arts training which includes wrestling, jujitsu, kickboxing and sparring before moving on to professional MMA. He does not have any lunch and only eats one meal during the whole day, in the evening. His diet mainly consists of bread and salad and even his dinner does not contain proteins. This year in January he won his first Strikeforce fight against Nagy who is half his age. This remains an outstanding achievement because at his age most people retire and maybe move on to sports like golf but still he continues to be such an outstanding athlete at the age of 48. The recent photoshoot also provides that he is now fitter than he was during his playing days. The former Vikings star retired from the National Football League 12 years ago but still has maintained his fitness. Javier Mendez at the American Kickboxing Academy expressed his astonishment at the achievements of Walker at his age and his unbelievable food habits and workout routines. |
