JEROME HARRISON: NOW A PHILLY EAGLE

After a disappointing season in Cleveland which saw him relegated to the bench, Jerome Harrison moved to Philadelphia Eagles as a trade in exchange for Mike Bell.

The deal was announced by the Eagles and would be confirmed by the Browns once both the players are through physical tests.

Harrison thought of achieving much more success this season after his club record run of 286 yards against Kansas City last season, making it the third-most in NFL history and gaining a total of 561 yards in the final three games of the Browns.

Harrison’s move looked predictable after a souring of relations with the Browns looking evident with Montario Hardesty selection in April’s draft and also Peyton Hills being given the chance to be in the starting line-up with Harrison relegated to the bench.

Harrison practiced for the Browns on Wednesday.

This deal will ultimately benefit the Eagles with their scary offense line which would give any opposition defence a run for their money. The Eagles team could feature McCoy, Harrison, DeSean Jackson, Jeremy Maclin and Vick, provided he is available, all in the field at the same time.

Thus the Eagles will have a chance to have a power running attack by having McCoy go up the middle and the fullback Owen Schmitt getting the ball occasionally. The fullback has done a reasonably good job as filler for Weaver. The Eagles with such an offensive line-up will be hard to beat if the team gets going to its full strength.
