John TravoltaJohn Travolta visited Saturday the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund during a visit to South Africa with his wife Kelly Preston and daughter Ella Bleu. They spent some time dancing and singing with children the foundation has supported. They have donated about $10,000 according to The Associated Press.

The children treated this star family to a concert and delighted them with a poem which encouraged them to keep their eyes in the sky and feet on the ground. Travolta mentioned about how children keep us humble and grounded, urging other people and celebrities to use their reputation to contribute this project. The foundation was established by Nelson Mandela, the first black President of South Africa, with the purpose of providing services and support to less fortunate children.

Travolta will stay a few days in South Africa as a spokesman for the Australian airline Qantas, supporting the Australian team. After the last year tragedy when they lost their son Jett, the couple recently announced that they are expecting.
