Jordan Farmar was a winner of two titles as a member of the Los Angeles Lakers having the likes of Kobe Bryant, Phil Jackson, Paul Gasol as company. Now, he is more in the news because of the team changes that is taking place. He is all set to join a new team and is slated to play for the New Jersey Nets now. Most of the fans of the player know that last year he left with the help of free agency. Farmar is more used to sit on the bench. That is what he was seen doing when he played for the Lakers. Jordan in his first match for his new team will await his opportunity and will act as a backup for Devin Harris. He will be waiting to have an impact and should produce a good performance which will provide more chances for him to come off the bench.
Though being a very talented and good player, Jordan has not got enough opportunities to showcase himself on the world stage. He spent most of his stay with the Lakers on the bench. His first match for the New Jersey Nets will be against Detroit Pistons. In recent times, the results have not been much to the Pistons liking and they would be looking to improve it. However, the Nets also did not fare much better last season with them being known as the worst team of last season.
However, though not many people will expect it to be a great match, this would definitely mark as a very important day for the new New Jersey player, Jordan Farmar.
