Pop singer Justin Bieber was spotted and photographed on Tuesday night sporting coach Phil Jackson’s Lakers championship ring 2010. The singer was there to enjoy the season opener of the Lakers versus the Houston Rockets.
The Lakers were awarded their 2010 championship rings in a ceremony Tuesday night. ESPN described those spectacular championship rings as jewelled with over 3 karats of diamonds and a unique feature on the underside — leather cut from a basketball played in Game 7 of the championship series against the Boston Celtics last June.
16 diamonds on the ring signifies the 16 titles of the franchise and in those rings, face of each player was sculpted in 3D on their respective rings.
The Canadian pop star is currently in Southern California on his MY WORLD 2.0 tour. Monday he performed in front of the Los Angeles crowd, and in Wednesday he will perform at the Honda Centre in Anaheim. His next venues will be at the HP Pavilion in San Jose and the San Diego Sports arena on Oct 28th and Oct 30th respectively.
The singer is having a packed schedule with the release of First Step 2 Forever: My Story, the tour, and preparing a documentary about his journey through from the mere videos of home PCs to the stage in front of thousands of screaming fans, called “Never Say Never” which will be out in February.
As a native Canadian, Justin is known to be a hockey fan, but basketball also attracts the 16 year old poster as he enjoys playing the game on his down time.
