TV dancer Karina Smirnoff was seen showing off the huge diamond ring Brad Penny gifted her this Saturday night. She gushed about Penny’s traditional proposal this October.

She told the paparazzi that they had kept quiet about it earlier as both the couple’s family were not around to celebrate. Karina Smirnoff’s people were in New York and Brad Penny’s family was in Oklahoma, and once the families were in the loop, they finally let the cat out of the bag.

After a whirlwind courtship and dating sessions which began in October last year, the engagement came exactly a year later . Karina Smirnoff dumped Maksim Chmerkovskiy , a fellow professional dancer for Brad Penny.
