![]() KINDLE FOR PC Amazon came in November 2009 with great news, offering Kindle for PC for free. This was a big opportunity for many book lovers, but they are still many of them which are not familiar with the new concept. Kindle for PC is not a new device, but just a new software for PC’s and Mac’s. This PC version of Kindle is available for more than 100 countries without any charge. At the beginning Kindle for PC was not ready for Mac, but now this version is easily available. There are many platforms offering electronics books for a reasonable price. Amazon is still providing an overview of the first two chapters of any book without any charges. As we know Kindle was not able to read comics, but not any longer, thanks to an open-source software tool Mangle. Now Kindle can read these black and white comics like the Scott Pilgrim series along with most other Manga work. Windows 7 is best recommended for Kindle installation because it allows finger motions, improving user experience. It will look like one is studying a genuine book with a finger touch to zoom, as well as a finger swipe to turn the pages. Electronic books are comparatively less expensive than the paperbacks and Amazon is not the only company that offered a free eReader software. In fact Nook hit stores from Barnes and Noble, providing a free eReader and six free books, but Kindle for PC is more popular. Image Credit: |
