Krystal Ball Unfazed by Sexist Republican Tactics

Krystal Ball, the Congressional candidate was left fuming after a dirty tactic by Republican bloggers that saw private pics of her taken at a costume party when she was a 22year old, posted on an uptight and conservative blog which immediately went viral.

Given contemporary internet standards of dishyness, the pics were nothing much, with a youthful Krystal Ball in a red Santa cap suggestively chomping off the nose of her now ex-husband dressed as Rudolph the red nosed reindeer. Krystal is a running for Congress in Virginia as a Democrat candidate , a region which is a stronghold of the Republican domain. The 29 year old is a sophisticated, articulate woman, a graduate from the University of Virginia in the school of 2003. The graduation party from UV had seen her dressed as Santa chica.

Critics derided the sexist attempt by the Republicans to defame an unapologetic sassy feminist. Krystal Ball said that the pics were embarrassing, but she was infuriated by the double-standards for women politicians. She said in an upfront attack that when the US was reeling under steep budget deficits and record levels of unemployment, it was puerile to resort to such crass tactics for political mileage. She said that Republicans, instead of addressing these pressing issues, were diverting public attention from the fiscal mess that they had created in Virginia.
On a redeeming note, Krystal Ball said that she would not milk the prejudice toward women trope, and delightfully, she does not support airheads like Sarah Palin who up campaign bills by thousands with their lipstick money and makeover demands.
