A democrat candidate from Virginia for Congress, Krystal Ball is having a set of six photos haunting her, taken around 2004.

The Krystal Ball photos are obviously of the candidate and her husband but posing in lewd sexual poses during a party in Christmas. The candidate has however condemned the leaked photos, saying that the blogger who had posted the pics was giving her what she termed as ‘sexist treatment’.

The blog, a republican known as ‘Virginia Vertucon’ had the photos first before they were posted again by another blogger, a republican as well. The Krystal Ball photos leak have infuriated the congress candidate since they are very personal and images she would not expect the world to have a glimpse of.

Ball is 28-years old and an accountant running for congress in central Virginia and running against GOP’s Rob Wittman.

She said putting up the photos for the world to see was very wrong and sexist, regardless of the party one was running on. In a statement, she said that she had a message to any young female thinking of running for a public office and had done a stupid pose on a camera or attended a form of a costume party; this sort of scare tactic shouldn’t deter their resolve.

She said that while issues of high unemployment looms, as well as unprecedented budget deficits and education system rightly broken down, some people are resorting to using personal destruction tactics rather than talking about real issues.
