LeBryan Nash is the No. 10 ranked player in the country. He committed to Coach Travis Ford and Oklahoma State, as reports confirmed it on Thursday. Nash has formerly played for Dallas and Texas / Lincoln and seemed to be fond of the university ever since he put his foot on Stillwater. Nash expressed his awe at the beautiful campus and really appreciated the fan support that he was getting. LeBryan chose the Cowboys instead of going to Kansas and Baylor.
The 6 foot 7, 230 pounder shooter is said to be the most gifted player physically in the class of 2011. The deadly combination of power, athleticism and physical agility are the things which sets him apart. Thus he makes it tough for opponent defenders to stop him. He is also very agile while attacking the basket and does not fear doing so. Gifted with excellent dribbling skills, he has developed himself to be a great player by working on his accuracy from the 3 point arcs. He comes around as a good decision maker also while utilizing the ball screens.
He is very good even defensively. His speed provides him with an advantage to stop opponent shooters from attacking the basket. He is strong enough to play with big boys and can hold his ground while getting banged with a player having a body bigger than him. His leaping abilities and strong hands give him a chance to be an excellent snatcher of the ball.
With all these qualities LeBryan Nash is sure to be the best bet for Ford next season and is ready to be an impact player in Oklahoma.
