After 8 months of cooling his heels in jail for illegal possession of a loaded gun, rapper Lil Wayne hopped out to jazz up the party circuit. Cortez Bryant, the manager of Lil Wayne said in a Tweet this Thursday morning that the rapper was free to celebrate.

The Miami Herald reported that Lil Wayne was all set to hit his Miami pad, and friends are giving him a grand welcome with a bash on Sunday night. The event is all set to be a blowout party that is to be hosted by the label Cash Money Records . After serving his term, the rapper will be back to his footloose best and netizens are all agog about his whereabouts.

Celebs to be present at the bash include Jay Sean, CEO of Cash Money and rapper Birdman aka Bryan Williams. Williams is set to plan the entire shindig from start to finish, and event manager Colin Cowie will look to the finishing touches.

Lil Wayne set up the site Weezythanxyou.com and no wonder weezy is ruling the net trends. The site gives all the dope on the rapper’s life as a jailbird on Riker’s Island. He said that he was scarcely ever bothered in the situation in dock, and it is pretty obvious, given the fact that he released his music even while his confinement was on. The single from jail titled ‘I’m No Human Being’ topped the Billboard 200 chart.
